Last year, there had been a proposal to the parliament that people who are using the mobile phone are required to pay 5% tax which was then rejected by saying this will be considered at a later date. That proposal mounted furious and criticism from the public that it doesn't make sense to pay for the 5% tax because whatever it goes to the phone operating company, that money is subject to tax already.
