Recently a Chinese foreign minister, Wang Li, has visited Myanmar and has met Myanmar foreign minister Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. There has been a public conference where they two ministers talked in front of the media about the meeting.
During the talk, according to sources, Chinese foreign minister Wang Li include about the Myit Sone dam in which Daw Aung San Suu Kyi replied, "She didn't know of any project regarding with the Myit Sone dam and she hasn't seen the project papers at all. So, she can't talk and educate the public about the project yet".
That replied might mean something to the Chinese minister unexpectedly. China has been having a closed tie with the old military government. Many projects have been granted under the old government to Chinese.
The most hilarious and funniest part comes when we hear the Chinese translator translating the Burmese. It's the worst ever. The translator might be from the mainland China, it's terrible. They should have brought local Chinese to do the job.
