Audience member Ferlando Octavion Auzura told local media: “The accident happened in the middle of the second song when Irma stepped on the snake's tail.
"The snake then bit Irma on her thigh."
After the singer was bitten, she refused to take any antidote and continue to do her performance for another 45 minutes. Then the pop star collapsed in front of her fans watching the show.
After that the singer was taken to the nearest hospital where she passed away.
