Water festival, Songkran in Thailand, Thingyan in Myanmar is the new year of the local residents. It is one of the most important festivals of the year. Usually, people come home to union with family members as this is a new year.

In Myanmar, employees are enjoying the long holidays as well - this year 2016, Myanmar has 10 days of national holidays. Meanwhile, Thailand has five days including weekend.

This is the Korean version of water festival which they called Gun Water Festa which seems to be GoPro advertising commercial. However, people are enjoy the event playing with the water guns.
