
The competition is seen where chefs are asked to cook the live snakes and fish and make it as fresh as possible. Video is made to inform people that Chinese are actually eating these live creature raw.
The first dish was preparing a snake in which it has to be moving when serving. The chefs are seen having a snake in their hand ready to cut off the head once the whistle blows. Once the head is cut off, the chefs quickly run it through the boiling water and scale out the skin. Then the chef cut the stomach opened to take out all the inside organs. All the procedures are done within a short time to make the snake still moving. Once the snake is cut into pieces and put in on plate, it still moves. I wonder if Chinese eat it raw like that.
The second dish comes with a live fish ready. The chef quickly took the scales out while holding on the fish head. Then fried the body part while still holding on the fish head. The body part is cook; however, the fish head is still moving. The dish is served with tomato sauce pouring onto it.
