The chief minister of Irrawaddy Division is seen sitting on a motorcycle on the way to his office last Friday, 1st of April, 2016 . The chief minister is the newly appointed from NLD, the winning party of the recent national election.
This is the biggest change people start seeing because during the old government time, a chief minister position would have many body guards with a very luxurious cars. This is a sign of change happening in Myanmar in the newly form government.
However the residents pointed out that there should be a proper vihecle for the chief minister because it would be safer and easier to go of the office to work. And suggestions have been spread around that fund should be collected to provide a proper transportation for the minister.
